 received a used unit that didn't work September 9, 2010

Walmart has this item for $99, but I went with Amazon since tax and shipping was included for the same price. I ordered this dvd/tv combo unit as a gift for my mother, but unfortunately it arrived obviously used (as in NOT new) and defective. The box was not shrinkwrapped or sealed in any way like how new products usually come. I just flipped open the lid to find a dvd/tv combo unit, and several ziplock bags that contained the remote, antenna, and power cord. The dvd/cd combo unit itself is wrapped with the usual plastic film that they use for screens to prevent scratches. Well, mine looked like someone had previously peeled the film off, scrunched it up, and then tried to straighten it back out in a futile attempt to reapply on the unit. The bottom film was pretty bad, with tears in the plastic and dirt marks.
I figured I would power it on to check out the screen. In the upper right corner of the screen, there were several dead pixels that was about a dime in size. If that wasn't bad enough, it would not pick up any signal with the included antenna. Aside from the power switch, none of the buttons worked.
I am extremely disappointed in this purchase and am going to send it back for a refund. My mother is pretty disappointed too because I had already mentioned her gift was was arriving today.

The product is ok, even when sound is loud but not as clear as it should be.
The product is black and white and is not silver as it is describe in the "presentation"
After buying a 9in LCD TV (whithout the DVD) that had to return because never functioned and never received any technical support from VIORE (the worst service ever) I decided to buy this producto to my husband as a birthday gift.
Until know, only one week using it, the product have been Ok...
