Kindle Global

Amazon Kindle 2 Global I didn’t think that I’d ever love a gadget more than I loved my Kindle 1. I was wrong! The Kindle 2 Global is sleek, sexy, faster, lighter, better. Everything about it is better than the Kindle 1, and that was a remarkable device. The size and shape alone make the Best Buy Kindle 2 Global a worthwhile purchase. I listed to my book all the way to work in the car this morning. Who needs books on tape? I have a Kindle 2 Global. Why don’t you?

I received my Kindle 2 Global Best Price today and getting to know all the features has been a joy. I didn’t even need to read the owner’s manual, everything is very intuitive. While I do not have a Kindle 1 to compare it to, this version of the Kindle 2 Global is everything I wanted it to be and more. It’s so easy to just start reading. My Kindle was charged and when I turned it on, it had ALL the samples I had sent to myself before it even shipped. When reading these reviews, make sure you are reading reviews written by actual Kindle owners.
The Kindle 2 Global My one and only criticism is that they really needed to ship the Amazon Kindle 2 Global with a cover. I know Kindle 1 owners received a cover with theirs, and it really is a shame they didn’t do it with the Kindle 2 Global Best Price. The major issue with not having a cover is that the Kindle is so smooth and sleek (not really a bad thing) and thin that at times it can be a little slippery to hold. I will definately order a cover for mine, though it won’t be the Amazon one (I like different color options, Amazon cover only comes in black).
The Text-to-Speech feature truly is to be commended. It’s not as robotic sounding as in the Amazon Kindle 2 video demo. I personally don’t think I’ll use it much as I am NOT a fan of listening to books, period. But perhaps I will use it while driving over long distances. People who suffer from a visual impairment will benefit greatly from this feature, as it is unfair to them to have to buy costly audio books.
Summary: Two Thumbs Up for Kindle 2!
I was a Kindle 1 owner and I bought the Kindle 2 Global on a whim. And I am glad that I did. I love how slim it is. It is nicer to hold in the hands, and the screen looks sooo much better. With the old one, I was always accidentily clicking the next page button it was getting really tiring. I love the way that the buttons press on the the new one. I really am thrilled that I bought the newest version.

Kindle Global Wireless So far I have to say I am 100% stoked on this device. The technology boggles my mind. It is fantastic for traveling since I no longer have to pack any number of paperbacks which affect both space and weight. I also really like the instant word definition capability used when you suddenly come across a word that you’re not sure of the meaning. I would also recommend the leather hinged cover with the corner straps. It protects, looks great, and when folded back really gives you the feel of a real book.
I’m a lifelong reading fanatic and have always had hundreds of books in my personal collection. Some became favorites and I kept them to read again, but most were enjoyed once, and then given away. But now, with my wonderful Kindle, I can buy multiple books at lower prices and be able to carry literally hundreds of titles with me everywhere that I go!
I had one of the first-generation ebook readers 5 years ago. The Kindle is so vastly superior that there really is no comparison. The screen resolution quality is particularly good, and I LOVE the “read to me” feature that allows me to listen to a book as I drive.
