The technology boggles my mind. It is fantastic for traveling since I no longer have to pack any number of paperbacks which affect both space and weight. I also really like the instant word definition capability used when you suddenly come across a word that you're not sure of the meaning. I would also recommend the leather hinged cover with the corner straps. It protects, looks great, and when folded back really gives you the feel of a real book. I'm a lifelong reading fanatic and have always had hundreds of books in my personal collection. Some became favorites and I kept them to read again, but most were enjoyed once, and then given away. But now, with my wonderful Kindle, I can buy multiple books at lower prices and be able to carry literally hundreds of titles with me everywhere that I go! The screen resolution quality is particularly good, and I LOVE the "read to me" feature that allows me to listen to a book as I drive.
